Since Twilight came out every girl (including mother’s) in this planet have been fantasizing that Edward was real. He, as described in the book, possesses a beauty not like any human boy/man in this world. He has a god-like feature which made almost every girl in their school like him, for short he is a perfect epitome of beauty. Maybe the other reason why people, women in particular, adores Edward because he is a vampire who spends every hour trying to protect the love of his life which makes him the perfect prince charming! HE is the "gentleman" every girl has been dreaming of. He, in a way, is a protagonist and ,at the same time, an antagonist in Bella’s life. He risks Bella’s life just to be with her but still he manages to stop his thirst for Bella’s blood and protects her in all dangers that Bella has to face.
